Panorama-Rama

This series is made with a software program called "autostitch" you can download for free. I used it to make these overview shots of the cities we visited on our 2005 trip to Germany and Italy. If you click on the pics to enlarge them you will see it tends to distort a little bit, but I still think it's pretty cool!

This first one is the city of Wiesbaden, Germany, where we spent a few days with our friend Keith.

This is the view from the castle in Heidelberg, Germany, overlooking the old part of the city and the Neckar River.

This is the Olympic Village in Munich, taken from atop the Olympic Tower. We stayed with our German friends, Bernd and Franzis, who were actually living in the village at the time so we had a real immersion experience there!

I finally got to take Mark to visit my old stomping grounds in Vicenza, Italy. This is the city as seen from the top of Monte Bericho.

It's hard to believe I lived in Italy for two years back in the 1980s but never got around to visiting Florence (too busy skiing and partying with my friends stationed in Germany I guess!) but we saw it on this trip and it was beautiful. I probably appreciated it a lot more than I would have back then too!
