The Rock

This is definitely no paradise island. Even on a bright and sunny day in August it's still cold and windy out there, but it's well worth it to experience the place that's been the subject of so many books and movies.


Mark points out that this guard tower was obviously rebuilt since Clint Eastwood blew it up!

Looking back over downtown San Francisco, I think I spotted our missing conex on this passing ship!
